December Photo Project - day one.

This year I'm taking a deep breath and joining in with the December Photo Project again. I did this back in 2008 - the goal is to post one photo a day during the first 25 days of December - or almost every day in my case. Because December is literally always too busy for words, a photo of some sliver of life is just what is needed for a blog. So please forgive the relatively quiet month here - we'll let the camera do the talking instead.

Here's day 1 - The holly and ivy of the northern hemisphere are used to deck the halls in the traditional reds and greens of the season, but in Australia the summer gives us our own reasons for a red and green Christmas - strawberries, cherries, and vine ripened tomatoes!

  1. I've joined up for the Decemnber Photo Project too. I am looking forward to reading all your photo posts. And home grown tomatoes are so good. :)

  2. Sounds like an excellent reason to get some fabric with prints of strawberries / cherries / tomatoes / watermelon to use for 'Christmas' quilt projects. :-)
